PRINT MAKING

These prints are hand pulled linocuts, woodcuts and monoprints. I have recently begun making woodcuts and linocuts with more frequency.

The first post (at the end of the blog) is a collection of all the old ones that I could find. Some were never printed as a full series and most of the original blocks have disappeared over the years.

I am now posting new small edition, hand pulled woodcuts and linocuts for sale. Compositionally there is a lot of similarity between these prints and my paintings and in some cases the subjects or the original drawings are the same.

I like that it is possible to make the most mundane scene or object so vibrant and alive with a block print.
