Wonderful Bruce. I love how you can see every mark of the cutting tool. It's so tactile, so kind of "what you see is what you get". Like a cross between painting and sculpture.
Thanks Sheila, that's why I wanted to show the detail of the print and pictures of the block. Also, like sculpture, once I make that cut I have to work with it whether it's right or not.
'Fable of the Walking Trees' has such personality. The cut marks are very expressive. I enjoy your style, especially the way you grouped the black areas of the trees, creating individual trees with subtle connections turning them into a larger abstracted shape.

Hi Kim, I'm glad you like what you see. This is one of the larger prints that I've done. I think the size is one of the things that loosens things up.
